Hello,

from Friday to Sunday we finally had once again Pinneberger hare with us to visit - some of my loyal readers may be better known as Holger and Gunnar von www.northerndelight.de .

The weather was not very kind to us, for our trip to Porta Westfalica Minden and was overshadowed by an icy snow storm. Accordingly, our stay was at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial unfortunately very short. The beautiful view we could not really enjoy.

The monument was a decision of the provincial parliament of the former province of Westphalia in 1892 - built in 1896 to plans by the Berlin architect Bruno Schmitz. the statue of the Emperor designed native of Herzebrock / Westphalia and Vienna active sculptor Caspar von Zumbusch.

Romanesque, Gothic, Weser Renaissance, Classicism and Historicism form the city of 83,000 inhabitants town and give it its distinctive charm.

We moved there because of heavy snowfall, however, before then but, we can sweeten a cup of coffee in the market with white chocolate and cakes.



On Sunday we spent comfortably in the GOP-Varieté in Hanover before a cozy weekend together once again, unfortunately far too quickly came to an end.
